Gala Concert Fanfares and Dances:
A Recital for Two Pianos
Lachlan Skipworth’s Fanfara for orchestra was composed for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s 50 Fanfares project. Pianists Anna Sleptsova and Tommy Seah will perform the world premiere of Skipworth’s arrangement of Fanfara for two pianos.
The master and disciple duo will also perform two cornerstone works for two-pianos: Mozart’s Sonata in D major is perhaps his happiest work, and was notably used in the original study of the Mozart Effect, whilst Rachmaninoff’s monumental Symphonic Dances was his last major work. Join us to experience this epic program!
